The future of Otto Pfister as Cameroon coach has been thrown into doubt after he left the squad rather than join them at a training camp in Belgium. The Indomitable Lions are preparing for next month's 2010 World Cup qualifiers at home to Morocco and then in Gabon. The BBC has learnt that as the squad arrived in Belgium, Pfister decided to continue his journey elsewhere. The German coach did not explain his decision and has left the squad in a state of confusion. Cameroon lost their opening game in the final round of World Cup qualifying suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Pfister's former team Togo. |
